Hi Everyone!

Here’s a quick update about my weekend in Mallorca…

Last weekend, I went to Mallorca, a Spanish island off the east coast of Spain, with my friend Maggie and six of my seven roommates. On Friday, Celine, Cassidy, Yulissa, Maggie, and I got to Palma in the morning, got some lunch, and spent the day walking around the city. We saw the beautiful Cathedral, spent some time on the beach, got ice cream, and met up with the rest of my roommates who flew in later than us.

The eight of us made our way to our Airbnb, which was about an hour from Palma. Our apartment was super nice, and the view was even better!

We went grocery shopping and cooked our own dinner. I taught everyone how to properly cut a pizza too 🙂

On Saturday, we were going to go on a boat trip in the morning, but the waves were too big for us to go out. We were a bit bummed, but we spent the day visiting two different beaches instead! The weather was perfect. Four of us went to get fish pedicures too. It tickled a little bit, but we got used to it!

On Saturday night, we went out to dinner and started packing up to go home on Sunday.

We each had different flights back on Sunday, but six of us went to Mass at the Palma Cathedral.  The inside of the Cathedral was just as beautiful as the outside!

We then went to a nearby castle and had a great view of Palma. The castle was closed because it was not yet their normal tourist season, but the view was still worth the hike.

Celine, Maggie, and I went back to the beach one more time and did a bit of shopping before our late 10PM flight back to Madrid.

This week is full of exams, projects, and getting ready for Spring Break!  I will be traveling with my friend Maggie to Lisbon & Fatima, Portugal and Valencia & Sevilla, Spain for Semana Santa (Holy Week).
